Been quiet for the last little bit but now we've got some news regarding a sequel to Gundam Build Fighters that is coming in the fall, care of ANN
The official website for the Gundam Build Fighters anime announced on Thursday that the new series is a television anime premiering this fall. The website notes that the teaser illustration has silhouettes for unidentified mecha (including one super-deformed one), and indicates that there will be new characters. The website had announced in May that there is a new series in the works, but did not specify the medium or release.
So there you have it. We'll of course get more information and details, including the actual start date, as time goes on.

Some big Gundam news coming from Anime News Network today.
The first is the announcing of not only one but two new series. The first starts in the fall and is called " Gundam: G no Reconguista (Gundam: Reconguista in G)" and here's how ANN gives a rundown:
Gundam: G no Reconguista (Gundam: Reconguista in G), the franchise creator Yoshiyuki Tomino's major Gundam project since the 2005-2006 Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam film trilogy, will debut this fall. It is set in "Reguild Century," the era set after the Universal Century, and it will follow the adventures of a pilot trainee named Beruri Zenamu in Capital Guard, an organization protecting a space elevator. The character designer is Kenichi Yoshida, and the mecha designer are Akira Yasuda, Ippei Gyōbu, and Kimitoshi Yamane. Yuugo Kanno is scoring the music.
and here's a preview video for it:
Not only that but we also get the announcment that next spring we'll get the animated adaptation of Gundam the Origin:
Kidō Senshi Gundam: The Origin I: Aoi Hitomi no Casval (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin Blue-Eyed Casval) will tell the story of Casval Rem Deikun and Artesia Som Deikun (Char and Sayla, before Char became known as the Red Comet) before the One-Year War in UC.0068. The four-episode adaptation of Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's manga will debut in theaters in next spring.

In other news, it seems the folks who run the Gundam.info youtube page have decided for this month to offer a pair of classic Gundam Series for viewing. Said series being Zeta Gundam and Gundam ZZ. Each are subbed in English and can be viewed via their channel until March 31, 2014.
Decent deal for those who haven't seen either series yet.
Have a good one

I'm perosnally curious if it's the long await "Gundam the Origin" coming to anime form of it's something else, like an anime based on the Gundam Wing Frozen Teardrops novels.
What do you think it could be?
