News Archives- September 2007

September 20, 2007

I just got back from my trip (managed to get back early too) so I thought I'd try to clear out some of the backlong and post a quick update today.

Paul McCartney Junior passes along his reviews/recaps for episodes 27-29 of Gundam X. You can find them on the Gundam X page, which you can get at by clicking here. I've also added his screencaps for episodes 25-27 of Gundam X. You can find those via the G.I.G. of just by clicking here.

Finally for today there has been a minor update to the forum that should interest some. If you haven't been by recently or haven't noticed then just stop by our forum and check things out. Lots of good chatter by our regulars with some very good topics.

Have a good one

Nothing huge today but since I'm going to be away for the week I figured I give everyone something to tide you over until I get back. Mark064 and Majin (aka Vash from the forum and the chatroom) have teamed together and given us their reviews for Mobile Fighter G Gundam. Majin covers episodse 1-10 while Mark covers episodes 11 until the end of the series. You can find their reviews via the TV and Movies page or just by clicking here.

That's it, have a great week everyone

Time for an update and it looks to be one of the biggest yet.

First up, Paul McCartney Junior drops by and gives us his review for episode 26 of Gundam X. You can find it on the Gundam X show page or just by clicking here. Keeping with the theme of TV shows, I've also been given Athrun Zala's review of episode 10 of Turn-A Gundam. You can find it on the Turn-A show page or just by clicking here. Finally, I've added Vile's reviews for the entire 8Th team (including Miller's report) and episodes 1-2 of Gundam Wing. You can can the 8th team episodes here and the Gundam Wing episodes here.

Next up. The characters and mecha has had an update as I've added mecha profiles for Gundam F91. You can find those via the UC mecha page or just by clicking here.

Finally, the G.I.G. has had a bit of an update as I've added some more Frankens from EZero8. You can see some of the latest on page 3 and the newly expanded page 4. As well, I have added quite the few screenshots, made by Paul McCartney Junior, for Gundam X covering episodes 13-24. You can find the sections for them in the G.I.G.

That's it for today. Have a good one everybody.

It's Sunday so it's time for a quick update.

First up, after a long wait I've added a bunch of screenshots for Gundam X, provided by Paul McCartney Junior. This time we're covering episodes 6-12. You can find them over in the G.I.G.

While we're at it, I added Paul McCartney Junior's review of epsiode 25 of Gundam X. You can find it via the Gundam X show page or just by clicking here.

To finish off this update I added the old Mecha profiles for Char's Counterattack. You can find them via the UC Mecha page or just by clicking here. I'm surprised how quickly I've been able to add all this stuff to the site.

Have a good one

Two days later and more stuff to put up and talk about. First, let's start off with Paul McCartney Junior as he sends in episode 24 of Gundam X. You can check that out via the Gundam X show page or just by clicking here. The show is getting to a really good point as one of my personal favorite mecha has made it's appearence.

Next, the characters and Mecha section gets another update. This time I've added Mecha information for Gundam: the 8th team as well as the character profiles from that series. I've also added the mecha information for Gundam 0083. All be can found via the links already provided of by clicking here for the mecha and here for the character section.

I also apologize for the lack of updates in the screenshot area lately. I've really fallen behind in doing that so maybe over the weekend I'll post some of that to start freeing up the backlog.

Have a safe weekend everyone

ps - A non-Gundam note but those in Canada should note YTV is NOT showing Death Note tonight despite it being listed in the various TV guides. Check out Zannen,Canada for details about as to the why's and When's for the show to make it's debut in Canada.

Today we have a mix of things for this update.

First up, Athrun Zala give us more Turn-A action as he gives us his look at episode 9. You can find it on the Turn-A show page or just by clicking here.

Next up is EZero8 as he gives us another MSIA review. This time he's looking at the RX-78-4[Bst] Gundam "G04" MSIA which you can find here or just by hitting the Views and Reviews page.

Finally for today is the first of what should be many updates to the Characters and Mecha section. Today, I'm adding the Mecha information for Gundam Wing AND Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. As well, I'm adding Character information for Gundam Wing which can be found here.

That's all for now, expect something more near or on the weekend.

September 3, 2007

Happy Labor Day everyone. I hope everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing long weekend. Today we have a fairly big update to tackle so it's time to get cracking.

First up some Gundam related news. Both Anime News Network and Gunota are reporting that Gundam 00 will now be split into 2 seasons/parts. We'll get the first 25 episodes starting in October and then the last batch in the new year. It should be interesting to see if the fans come back to the series after the break or if the more fickle of the fanbase forgets about it.

Next up we have some episode reviews. Paul McCartney Junior gives us episodes 18-23 of Gundam X and Athrun Zala gives us episode 8 of Turn-A Gundam. Both can be found via the TV and Movies page.

The Mecha section has finally had an decent update as Vile passed along to me all the mecha and character profiles from the original site. Many thanks to him for the profiles as the mecha and character section has long been needing something like this. For today, we start off with the Mecha for Zeta Gundam. You can find it via the Uc Mecha page or the prior link. Look for the Characters and Mecha area to be updated over the week as I add stuff to it. I've also added a link to Vile's site on the links page. Everyone should check it out to see the excellent web site work he's done.

and finally, just for fun, I added a bunch of Zeta Gundam animated gifs for everyone to enjoy.

That's it. Enjoy what's left of the holiday weekend.

August 27, 2007

I hope everyone had a good weekend. I myself had a great time at the Canada Fan Expo checking out the various booths and stands and what not. It was neat to see Adam West in person too.

As promised here's a bigger and better update for this morning. First up, and big thanks to "Wings of Fire and Light" for the saving and passing them along, we now have some of the old Gundam Wing animated gofs back up on the site. You can find them via the G.I.G. or just by simply clicking here. Look for this section to be updated very quickly.

We also have some new unit information for Gundam 00. It can be accessed via the Double O unit page or individually with the Tieren space type, the Enact Mass production type and the Ptolemaios.

Next, Paul McCartney Junior puts up his review for episode 17 of Gundam X. It can be found directly here or via the Gundam X show page.

Finally, Athrun Zala gives us Episode 7 of Turn-A Gundam before he makes the trip to his college. Good luck with your schooling my friend. The reivew can be found directly here or via the Turn-A Gundam page here.

and that's it. I'll have a little time to do more work this week since my own university summer classes are now over so keep an eye out for more goodies in a day or two.

Have a good one
