Zeta Gundam
If one was to ask a Gundam fan to name their favourite show out of all the other Gundam shows, Zeta Gundam is usually near or on top of that list. Made in 1985 this show is the sequel to the original Mobile Suit Gundam in which the Earth is in control of all they survey through the strong arm tactics of the Titans.
Over the 50 episodes in this series we follow the struggle of the A.E.U.G. as they try to topple the Titans and their Earth masters with the use of varied and new mobile suits. The main star is Kamille Biden, a young teen like Amuro Ray, but instead of siding with Earth is very much against it. In his rage against the Titans, he unknowingly assists the A.E.U.G. in the theft of the prototypes that are known as the Gundam MkII. Joining up with the A.E.U.G. afterwards we follow him through his varied missions to earth and back as he tries to bring freedom and peace back to the colonies with the help of some old faces and lots of new ones.
A fan favourite with the Gundam Fanbase, this series has recently been dubbed and released on DVD in North America. It has also been made into 3 compilation movies in the past year.
