Episode 10 - Tomb Sweeping
Loran walks soshie back on WhiteDoll's hand. She seems irritated, throwing the whitedoll's guide at Loran, saying she doesn't understand it. She then leans back, saying she feels humiliated - she was saved by a moonrace.
Kihel and Grey walk along a long hallway, and Kihel comments that they will be hard to get back to the moon. Grey says that it might not be that they are stubborn, but rather that they cannot go back. He fails to elaborate any further, Miran walks in. The room goes quiet for a moment, and then Miran says that he has a request - he would like to Borrow Mrs. Kihel Heim.
Loran sits the WhiteDoll down in the woods to hide it, and lets soshie down, coming down himself, meeting up with Shido and Joseph, his accomplice. Loran thanks them, saying that it was all because of the swords on the shoulders of the WhiteDoll that they were able to get away. He says that in the manual, they're called "Beam Sabers." they comment about the Manual (Which Joseph calls a "Laptop Computer" as he read in the dark history), and then Joseph says that he wants to read everything in it.
Kihel and Grey go to meet Dianna. Dianna is glad to see their kindness, and says she doesn't know exactly what to do - but to make her comfortable. We really see the striking resemblance between the two now.
Soshie picks up a phone and calls Sheshika, who is in tears. Sheshika says that she has been lonely, and that her mother is getting worse.
Grey speaks with Dianna about the war - she says that she is counting on him - to keep this peaceful and to reduce bloodshed. A blimp passes the window, and Grey says that he is using it to check up on the war and to rescue their refugees.
They invite her into the blimp. They say it's a wonderful time - very beautiful. Dianna comments that she's never seen war before - let alone a war disaster, and says that she has also always wanted to try and ride a blimp.
Grey and Miran leave the room in order to take care of business, and Dianna and Kihel sit down for tea. As Kihel lifts up her cup with her right hand, Dianna switches to her left, saying that she is not a lefty, but a mirror in front of her. They seem to amuse themselves playing a small game of 'copy-cat', before Dianna sets down her cup and comments on how much alike they both look.
At the site where Keith, Loran and Fran landed the Flat, Keith observes the excavation - he is handed a bag full of cash, and in his minds, says that he will be a great baker.
In the changing rooms, Dianna and Kihel have a little game of "dress-up". Dianna asks Kihel to show her what a dress looks like by trying it on, and then, after that, begins to take off her own clothing and asks if she could show her what that looks like, as well.
After Kihel gets into Dianna's clothes, and then Dianna gets into a pair of regular clothes (what Kihel would wear), the only way you can tell that Dianna is, well, not Dianna, is by the fact that the real Dianna asks her (after she did Kihel's makeup and her hair) to walk around so she can see what it looks like - commenting on how she finds it intriguing - so that's what her back looks like.
They both begin to laugh, and Dianna laughs like a young girl with a good friend. Miran interrupts, saying he is there to pick up Dianna and she kind of laughs, saying that from now on, they will be switched - if they are caught, they'll apologize.
Grey is in the Castle giving orders - A soldier walks in saying that Loran and Soshie are there to see him. Loran puts a report on Grey's desk, saying it's from Shido. Soshie begins to tell him that she wants her mother to go back to Issin town with her because her mother is not feeling well - but Grey doesn't seem to notice, he is too caught up with reading the report. He comments on the "beam sword", and Loran corrects him, saying it's really a heated cell - but Soshie interjects, yelling at Grey. Grey doesn't seem worried - he says that the blimp is ready to go, and that they can go back to issin town with it.
Miran, Dianna (dressed as Kihel), Kihel (as Dianna), and Grey all walk up to the Blimp. To their credit, they both act incredibly in character, enough so to confuse both Loran and Soshie. Soshie tells Dianna (as she believes it's her sister) that their mother was in tears. Dianna acts incredibly sad, and says that she will go visit. When Grey tells Dianna to serve tea, Loran rushes to it, beating Dianna to making the tea.
As the blimp begins to move, Harry in his Gold Sumo, and two others begin to fly after it, as guards.
Dianna looks on, amazed. They talk for a while, and Kihel (as Dianna) Mentions how Norse city is in bad condition - being burned. Grey then says that he would like to borrow Kihel, and takes her into an enclosed cabin. Grey asks her if she has any cloths which she can lend to Dianna, because he doesn’t want her attacked. She seems glad to be able to give her clothes - Soshie chimes in, enrages, asking how she could be happy to lend clothes to the person responsible for killing their father and why mom became crazy. Dianna looks stunned and distraught.
Miran and Kihel are having a discussion - he seems genuinely worried that she will be hurt - so much so that he sounds almost sad at the thought. Kihel, sounding almost too much like Dianna, says that he shouldn't worry.
As they get off the blimp, they get into two identical red trucks, and Harry follows.
They arrive at the house, and Sheshika gives who she believes to be Kihel and Soshie a warm welcome, thanking Grey.
Kihel watches on as Dianna speaks to her mother, telling her that she has met alot of people at college, and that she's happy to be back.
They then walk out, and we see a nice, elegant (but not too elegant) Grave stone for Diran Heim, their dead father. It is only now that we have an idea of the time - the dates say 2298 - 2345.
Kihel, as Dianna, stays back, taking off her hat in respect for her father, and Dianna, as Kihel, puts on a wonderful display, running to the grave, falling on her knees and apologizing, saying she is sorry to have come so late, and seems to truly cry. Kihel begins to cry, thinking to herself, and thanking Dianna, asking herself if that was really from the heart.
Final thoughts - there was no fighting, at all, but for some reason, this was a captivating, yet slow episode. It seemed a little dragged out, but non-the-less utterly important episode. Did Dianna plan to be in Kihel's place and Kihel in hers? Is it so she can spy on them? Either way, she really does seem genuinely distraught by the destruction that she has caused - does this mean she is thinking of going back and leaving, or is it all some game?
