Gundam Unicorn
With the 30th anniversary of Gundam came the announcement of something many of the the fans have been guessing that could be coming for sometime - an anime version of the Gundam Unicorn novels. While normally the Gundam series go anime first and than novels/manga this will mark the first time that a novel based in the Gundam world will get the anime treatment.
The story takes place in UC 0096, three years after Char's Counter Attack. The series follows Banagher Links, an engineering student who is drawn into the much bigger world after an encounter with a girl named Audrey Burne and the Unicorn Gudam.
The series will begin in japan in spring of 2010 as an OVA consisting of 6 episodes at about 50 mins each. Bandai also plans on releasing the series simultaneously across the world through internet web streaming.
