Avatar - You don't go to see this for the story even though it's nothing bad but it's nothing groundbreaking. You're going to see the visuals and they are simply amazing. Spend the extra bucks to see it in 3d - it's worth it.

In my winter break boredom I got around to watching (500) Days of Summer.  And I thought it was a great movie.  Don't judge me. Tongue

Oh, and I also re-watched a crapload of funny flicks from the past few years.  Ah the good times before college life...

"Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li" - Kristen Kruek was hot but the flick was not.

Legion - what a boring flick. Not the action flick I expected and one of those "the previews are the best parts" type.

The Book of Eli - not good but certainly not terrible.

The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day - An excellent sequel and worth the wait for it to be coming out. Still not as good as the original but definitely worth seeing especially if you're a fan of the first flick.

Repo Men - the movie didn't know if it wanted to be an edgy sc-fi drama or an all out action flick.

Went and saw Iron Man 2 yesterday.

Great flick and worth seeing if you liked the first flick.

Saw "The A-Team today" and much to my surprised it was actually quite fun and didn't suck. Your typical summer time action flick.

Went and saw Prince of Persia the other day. Wasn't as down right horrible as I was expecting, but it not going to win any awards. Went with some people that ended up confused about the ending, gotta pay attention to the beginning of the movie.

Avatar the Last Airbender. When people say that this movie sucks they are correct becouse this movie does suck. Better stick with cartoon that its based on.

Watched Inception a few hours ago.  It was a great movie (up there for best movie of the summer), though my friends spent the entire ride home raging about the ending.  I definitely recommend it if you haven't watched it yet.

Also caught Toy Story 3D a couple weeks back.  Waited 11 years for it and it didn't disappoint in bringing closure to the story.  I'm gonna miss those toys. Sad

Inception - Very very good movie but don't believe the fanboy hype - it is not the greatest movie ever made.

Salt - Not terrible but not the greatest. It doesn't really cover any new ground but it's passable as a summer action flick.

The last airbender - Worst movie of the summer by far. Worst movie in the last two summers. Makes Dragonball look like Inception. A shame really because they got the look right but it just kinda didn't work with the acting, script and everything else. I don't blame the actors per say but I do think that many were mis-casted in their roles. Avoid at all costs.

The Other Guys - Actually turn out to be quite funny though it does drag on in spots, still - an easy renter when the time comes.

Kick Ass - Had it's moments but was mostly blah. Nick Cage's Adam West impression was funny though.

The Ghost Writer - quite good and definitely worth checking out though it is a tad long.

Tekken - it's about one would expect from a video game movie

Dinner for Schmucks - you basically see the best parts in all the previews. Avoid if possible.

Batman: under the red hood - The best DC animated movie (and pretty much super hero animated movie) I've seen to date. Get it and watch it if you're a batman fan.
