Well ,it wasn't bad this week but the episode was simply there.

We learn a little more about Zeheart's lalah girl. The writer's fail again and kill any chance for suspense by giving away that Asemu did indeed become Captain Harlock for the AGE world. They could have waited for the big reveal when Flit figured it out but noooo....had to give it away right quick. They could have also waited for Kio to figure it out but nooo...he had to learn right away.

Oh well, at least he wasn't wearing a mask to hide his identity like Captain Dan in Danguard Ace.

I like Asemu this time around; he recognizes how pants-on-head retarded the Federation is, and is willing to try and change it; and he even recognizes that he hasn't done enough in that department to boot. It's like a complete 180 for his character. The Pirate AGE-2 is kinda growing on me too.

As for killing any sense of suspense, I don't think there would be much suspense to begin with; we've all kinda seen it coming since the first episode of this generation. They might as well NOT waste time pretending we don't know.

I defenetly agree with Kaiser Dragon that Asemu has become actually good charachter with proper motivation and actual plan and I think that that alone made this episode worth to watching. I also agree with him that there would not had really no point trying to keep pirate leader being captain since we saw that coming thanks to first episode of this generation. Only thing is that they could had kept it secret from Flit and Kio and have them eventually figure it out. Its interesting that Zeheart's own Lalah has her own motivation. Over all this was rather good episode.

I don't really know you got around to calling Zeheart's girl a Lalah when the only comparisons I can draw between the two are that they are female and work with the villain.

As for the episode itself, Asemu has at least improved as a character but the whole episode just came off as a "introduce someone who leaves the same episode" kind of feel. So whenever they run into Asemu again it'd be more interesting but for now there isn't much going on there. I also had a good laugh in the end when Asemu/Ash stood there and just plainly explained all his motives to the other guy on his ship.

Aside from that, worthless kids on the ship aren't going to go anywhere are they? And why would they evacuate people from the Earth to a space colony by the Moon? That's quite the trip. Captain is still worthless and it'd be nice if we saw some character development with the existing characters like Abis.
