| Brief Bio: | A Coordinator and officer in Zaft. His father is a member of Zaft's governing council. Athrun leads the special unit in the infiltration of Heliopolis and the subsequent abduction of Orb's mobile suits. Athrun is expected to live up to many standards including his father's ideals, his fiancée's career, and the memory of his mother. Athrun and Kira were best friends in childhood but separated several years ago. Athrun Pilots the Aegis Gundam and the Justice Gundam later on in the series. |
